Hot Takes with Greg Hall
Greg Hall is a singer/songwriter based in the hills of Western Massachusetts. Born with music all around and raised by horses on a farm in another part of the Northeast, his upbringing has shaped a career playing his brand of folk/country songs across New England, touring with his own band and as a member of Ward Hayden & the Outliers. In the tradition of his favorite songwriters, Elliott Smith and Willie Nelson, his lyrics are centered on the grounded intimacy of personal moments and universal human stories.
Greg Hall's new release, "Birds & Roses" showcases his personal approach to lyric writing in an acoustic setting. Twangville says, "The arrangements are beautifully stripped to the core, his voice and acoustic guitar in the forefront."

Hot Takes with Tom Bernard
Tom Bernard joined Berkshire United Way as President and CEO in January 2022. He previously served two terms as mayor of the City of North Adams, Massachusetts, and as chair of the school committee of the North Adams Public Schools. Earlier in his career Tom served as director of special projects at Smith College; in various administrative roles at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA); and as a development officer at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA).

Rev. Mike Denton is the Designated Pastor for United Church of Christ, Pittsfield. Worship is at 10am on Sunday mornings, and you are always welcome! He has served on the committees and boards of the United Church of Christ in a variety of roles. He has also been part of national, regional, and community organizations with missions ranging from social service, interfaith relationships, educational support, and social justice.

Hot Takes with Liana Toscanini
Liana Toscanini founded the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires in 2016 after many years of volunteering. The recipient of several awards for community service, she recently was awarded “Business Person of the Year” by the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce. Her corporate marketing background has proven as useful in the Berkshires as it did in New York City where she lived and worked before moving to the Berkshires in 1996.
