One of the primary goals of this whole series is to find artists and bands who are making truly original and interesting music and showcasing that in our taproom. Padded Waltz fits the bill. Their blend of art pop and prog rock, and unique audio-visual presentation is the exactly the sort of hyper-specific work that gets us crazy-excited to collaborate.
While “experimental” music can veer off into strange directions, one of the most refreshing qualities of this group is the control and awareness of the sort of sonic landscape they’re building together. You’ll be willing to follow them on this journey because of their effortless transitions into different movements, and their ability to make all of the music very approachable and accessible. This is especially true of the tracks on their latest release, and we know that the way they’re going to bring this all to life is going to lead to a super-memorable show.
