10x10 2026
February 12-21, 2026
Every year, in honor of Pittsfield’s 10x10 Upstreet Arts Festival, we release 10 small batch beers with 10 corresponding launch parties. This year, we’ve teamed up with local artist Cara Betti for this year's design, and we’ve got a great lineup of special beers and events.
Thursday, February 12
Beer: I Won’t Cry For Yesterday Brut Pale Ale
Event: Meet the Artist: Cara Betti (7pm)
Inspired by the natural wine movement, this unfiltered extra-pale ale was bottle conditioned with champagne yeast, which produces a complex earthiness that finishes nice and dry. We'll be raising a glass of this beer to celebrate start of the 10x10 Festival with a chance to meet this year's featured artist.
Friday, February 13
Beer: Cloudsplitter Nut Brown Ale
Event: Greg Hall Solo Show (7pm)
Named in honor of fierce American abolitionist John Brown, this nut-brown ale has a medium body but a bold flavor. Complementing this approachable workingperson’s beer will be singer-songwriter Greg Hall whose smooth voice and guitar playing invite us into songs filled with character and musings on the big ideas that come from life’s little moments.
Saturday, February 14
Beer: Alexandria Smoked Chipotle Porter
Event: Book Fair (2pm)
Dark and fiery, just like our favorite banned books, our smoked chipotle porter makes a good winter warmer and fits nicely in our existing lineup of previous pepper beers. Joining us for this celebration are local booksellers Indie Readery & Records and The Bookshires, along with authors Arleta Rae, DW Ardern, Lara Tupper, Matthew Zanoni Müller, and Steve Monterosso.
Sunday, February 15
Beer: Instruction to Slay Mixed Fermentation Ale with Elderflower
Event: Berkshire Concert Choir Performance (4pm)
Inspired by the writings of Zosimos of Panopolis, the first author to ever write about alchemy, this mixed fermentation ale features an intoxicating mix of yeast strains along with Brettanomyces, which adds a bit of tartness without being too overpowering. Joining us to celebrate this beer’s debut will be the Berkshire Concert Choir, whose participation in our 10x10 celebrations has become an annual event.
Monday, February 16
Beer: Fiestas Mexican Lager
Event: 10x10 Quinceañera with Barrington Stage Company (7pm)
In honor of the 10x10 Upstreet Arts Festival's 15th birthday, we're teaming up with Barrington Stage Company, who first created this 10-day event. We'll be releasing a traditional Mexican lager, and DJ DS-1 will be making his taproom debut along with a food popup by Yury's Kitchen.
Tuesday, February 17
Beer: Audrey II Pickle Beer
Event: Special-Edition Trivia with Barrington Stage Company (7pm)
Worlds of fermentation collide as we combine beer and pickle juice for this oddly satisfying and delicious creation. We’ll be welcoming back our friends from Barrington Stage Company, who’s special events in our taproom have also become a staple of our 10x10 lineup.
Wednesday, February 18
Beer: A Garden You Never See Saison
Event: Red Shirt Farm Seed Share (7pm)
Saisons are our favorite styles of beer. Born out of a brewing tradition started by Belgian farmers, this style offers the most range and opportunity to experiment with a variety of ingredients. This a big reason why we brew a different saison for each 10x10. For this year’s batch, we incorporated a giant squash from Red Shirt Farm, who will be joining us for a seed share and to talk more about their farm, new farm store, and more.
Thursday, February 19
Beer: One Beetle Recognizes Another Irish Red Ale & BAA After-Party
Event: Irish Dance Showcase & Fundraiser with Scoil Rince Bréifne Ó Ruairc (7pm)
Irish Red Ales have been requested on and off since we first opened, and this is the first time we’ve ever made one. While we might not have enough to last us until St. Patrick’s Day, we will be celebrating the release of this first-ever Hot Plate Irish Red Ale with our friends from Scoil Rince Bréifne Ó Ruairc, who will be returning to the taproom for a special performance and fundraiser.

Once the dancing is done, the party continues as we'll also be the location for the Berkshire Art Association's Real Art Party after-party, and will be raising funds for them, too.
Friday, February 20
Beer: Monte Cassino Belgian Dubbel
Event: Language Exchange with Katunemo
St. Benedict was the founder of the Benedictine monastic order, of which Trappist monks who brew their famous Belgian Dubbel belong. St. Benedict was a big proponent of the concept of community, which he wrote extensively about in his seminal work Rules for Monasteries. In there, he promoted the stability that comes from shared work, hospitality, and the virtue of building strong relationships. This is why we are excited to host our second Language Exchange Night with Katunemo to celebrate the formation and support of a cross-cultural community here in Pittsfield.
Saturday, February 21
Beer: Berkshire Bonspiel Kriek Lambic
Event: Curling Double Header with Berkshire Curling Club (1:05pm & 8:30pm)
Aged for several months--including a month on cherries--our Kriek Lambic pays a tribute to one of the first Belgian beers that head brewer Sarah first fell in love with. Perfect for sharing with friends, we’ll be celebrating the launch of this beer with the Berkshire Curling Club who will join us in the early afternoon to watch the Gold Medal Match for Curling at this year’s Olympics, and will also be returning to the taproom later in the evening after they complete their learning to curl event at the Boys & Girls Club a few blocks away.
